U9's Capture First Win of the Season

The Fusion U9's worked hard this past week and it paid off. They were able to defeat Coventry and capture their 1st win of the season, improving to 1-1!

"I am very proud of the way the U9's team played this past Saturday against Coventry," states coach Emma. "They took what we worked on in practice and applied it in the game. We moved the ball around a lot more and stayed spread out. We also did a lot better on corner kicks which we spent a long time on and came very close to scoring on a few. I am really looking forward to this week of practices and our next game!"

The U9's will have the chance to defend home field with their next game when they host Springfield, May 4th at 6 pm.
